NickelBack and not so Hated performance

The songs of Nickelback played in almost every radio station back in the days, the band composed with Chad Kroeger (Vocal and guitar), Ryan Peake (Guitar), Mike Kroeger (Bass) and Daniel Adair (Drums) made a good work with the musics and album released in the beginning of the 00´s.

The band started in 1995, and the first work was they´r album "the Curb" that came out in September of 1996, and since then they already brought us 10 album´s with good music, specially the  2005 album "All the right reasons" (this album was marked also because of the change of the drummer, and was the first album that Daniel Adair recorded) and the 2001 album "Silver slide Up", were the most famous and listened albums of the band.

The record label of Nickel Back between 1999 and 2017 was the roadrunner records, the same label as Slipknot and Sepultura, and this was a little controversial detail because the label by itself was recognized more to a Metal stuff, then a alternative or Rock style of music, and Nickel back were different then all of the bands in the label, so this was a impact that could be a risk or something that would be insinuated for a good point of view in the music for the label (and was that the case fortunately).

The fact that they were hated its just a trend of that time, and it was just a bare hate current without any sense or specific cause of it. I am one of the those people who appreciated (and still) they work, and they´r musics. Nowadays it´s notable that they´r style have a a few details of pop rock, a more heavy rock and even a slice of country and more mature lyrics.

I hope they keep going good, as they remain, and of course also with good news and tours!!!

This is commercial rock this is good music, this is not the hate that was spreed of some empty minded people!! Respect Nickel Back they were part of the culture!

Robert Miles the iconic dream trance and progressive house artist from Italy

Robert Miles  revolutionized the electronic music back in the 90´s he made great songs like "children", fable, and this one "in my dreams". He recorded the album "Dreamland" in 1996, that at the time began making success in Europe and by the ending of the 90´s reached the world.

The style of Robert Miles was recognized as very introspective, magic and dreamlike vibe of music. His most famous song is "Children" that was released one year before dreamland (1995), and was very famous on the disco´s around Europe. I decided to Share this one because is my very favorite song of him, Listen to this and i hope you like if you didn´t listen yet.

Nsync* live 1998 (I want you back)

So as we can se the boy band Nsync* is performing the single I want you Back live with their amazing voice control as they dance. One of the thinks that i really consider they one of the best boy band of all time its just not about the amount of label and album sellings, but the technique and accuracy in the stage it was just amazing i personally say that on the stage they were the BEST boy band of all time, dancing and singing with good performance at the same time its not easy...

The single I want you Back its one of my favorite musics of them, maybe my second favorite just behind Its gonna be me. I hope we can see the guys coming back for a reunion and dancing and singing like this again, even if they aged a little bit, it doesn't matter they still got that spirit! ...... well i hope so!!!!!!

Music in 2001

The year 2001 was no doubt one of the best years in terms of singles and albums released, even if some boy band, group or artist were starting to downfall a little bit, this time was repleted with good and immersive songs!!

We can relate the albums of "Britney" by herself, "Celebrity" by *Nsync, "World of our own" by West Life, "Songs in a mirror" by Alicia Keys, "Discovery" from Daftpunk with the famous song "one ore time", as one of the good and new stuff arriving in 2001.

Talking about a little of general music, we must not forget that this was the year that Michael Jackson released his last Album "Invincible", Lenny Kravitz brought us some good music like "Stillness of Heart" from his album "Lenny". The most famous song of the year was "hanging by a moment" by Lifehouse that lead the music charts in 2001 and also "Fallin" by Alicia Keys was the second most famous and with the best performance in the music charts in the same year.

The Eurodance and Dance Pop genre, was still in a good "era", with Vengaboys with recently hits like " we´re going to Ibiza" (1999) and "Shala lala" of the previous year at the time (2000).

Shakira and Pink made it great with songs like "whenever, wherever" and "get the party started" both of the albums "laundry service" and "missundaztood", we also have to remember Pink´s participation in "lady marmelade" on the side of Xtina, Lya and Lil Kim.

Our virtual friends made a good debut with the album "Gorillaz" with songs like "tomorrow comes today" and "clint eastwood".

But all with this, We already talked about the 2 most famous songs, but we have to mention the most desired  and purchased album of that year, that was "Hybrid Theory" by the iconic band Linkin Park, those guys shown us the great work that they make it one year before (2000), but in 2001 the album stayed as the most solded followed by "Hot Shot" by Shaggy and in third place "Celebrity of Nsync.

Aaliyah was very good with her album "Aaliyah" and made us feel the good feeling of R&B, her most famous song was try again from one year before (2000), She also was in a time of her live of good innovations like investing in the cinema sector, she was practically signed with future projects at the time like, "honey", "sparkle", and she started to record some scenes of Matrix reloaded. Unfortunately she passed away in a plane accident in August 2001, that was a huge loss, she was a very powerful and rising artist at the time.

At the end of summer we had the 30 anniversary career of Michael Jackson that was attended by a lots of artists and was between 7 September and 10 September of 2001. (a day right before a huge and sad event)

The year was coming to and end and with the 9/11 the things we´re under tension, and after that a lot of things in the world changed ad the Pop culture was starting to have different touches and contents, a curious fact is that Nickelback released they´r third album "Silver slide up" in 9/11, the recognizable song "how you remind me" is from that album.

Stay with me in the next post, se you around!!!

one of the most beautifull song´s of the early 2000´s "I´m like a bird"

All you have to do in some circumstances is just fly away, someone once told me, when you doubt don´t do it. Is this a secure advice or a lost opportunity??

Well... all we have to do is fly away isn't  it Nelly?

Pop, Soul & R&B - Lighthouse Family

When we talk about Pop, we talk about a group of artists and musicians that in most part have some edges of another music styles, nothing in the music is square in terms of style, you always have some influence or detail from another genre of music, and that´s what makes more beautiful!!!

Lighthouse family are with no doubt about it, one of the most iconic groups ( duos ) of the 90´s pop soul and R&B music. think about a cloudy afternoon in a day of around 1997... yes that´s they´r music, soft, calm and introspective vibe that makes us wanna fly high...

Since 1993 these two lads named Tunde Baiyewu and Paul Tucker made the difference and made the world more brighter with the songs that they gave to us.

I hope they come back soon to another seet of concerts or new music, what a legends!!!!!

Good Old days of TRL era

Talking about "TRL subject", it was very common the presence of Nsync in the show, the famous boy band shared a lot of new content at the time, and down there on the windows of the building we could see the very loyal fans waiting for some wave of them.

On the picture we can see the legendary Carson Daly interviewing the lads.

I guess this picture is from the year 1999 or early 2000.
