Pop, Soul & R&B - Lighthouse Family

When we talk about Pop, we talk about a group of artists and musicians that in most part have some edges of another music styles, nothing in the music is square in terms of style, you always have some influence or detail from another genre of music, and that´s what makes more beautiful!!!

Lighthouse family are with no doubt about it, one of the most iconic groups ( duos ) of the 90´s pop soul and R&B music. think about a cloudy afternoon in a day of around 1997... yes that´s they´r music, soft, calm and introspective vibe that makes us wanna fly high...

Since 1993 these two lads named Tunde Baiyewu and Paul Tucker made the difference and made the world more brighter with the songs that they gave to us.

I hope they come back soon to another seet of concerts or new music, what a legends!!!!!  

Good Old days of TRL era

 Talking about "TRL subject", it was very common the presence of Nsync in the show, the famous boy band shared a lot of new content at the time, and down there on the windows of the building we could see the very loyal fans waiting for some wave of them.

On the picture we can see the legendary Carson Daly interviewing the lads. 

I guess this picture is from the year 1999 or early 2000.

The TRL girl

 MTV´s TRL is remembered by the amount of teen and talented stars that were there all the time to discuss new albums, planned tours and more stuff from the music universe. 

This bright star, with the name of Britney Spears was a frequent guest in the show since the beginning in 1998 till the early 2000´s, i think one of her last appearances in TRL was around 2003. This photo was taken in 28 January of 2000.

 I wonder know, what kind of projects, musics or events you would do if you didn´t go to early...

 

The Kings of the Boy band

 There they are, the greatest and most iconic boy band of all time, ladies and gentleman "Back Street Boys" created in the early 90´s (around 1993) they were the pioneers in the style of boy band teen pop. They are so strong in what they do, that made them the only boy band in the pop industry, that never had broken or had a hiatus since they started. 

Also they are the boy band with most sold records,  with around more than 130 million albums selled  in they´r history, what makes them the third boy band off the history of the entire music with most albums selled. 

They´r last album was "DNA" released in January of 2019, but i believe they have a lot to do in the future... well talkin about that, they have planned a few concerts in Mexico in the first semester of 2024, and they also have a concert in September of 2024 in Germany.

 

Michael Jackson´s 30 th aniversary career - 2001

 

"The way you make me feel", performed by Michael Jackson and Britney Spears in 7 September of 2001, 1 day after the mtv´s vma, and 4 days before the 9/11 attacks. 

Michael invited Britney to perform with him in the year 2000, and Spears as a huge fan of him accepted, they made a very good performance.

The celebration lasted 2 days wich were in 7 and 10 of September 2001. 

Xtina For you Ladss with a lots of love

  Now its time for our legendary miss Christina Aguilera shine with her very first single "genie in a bottle"  debuted in 1999. At the time this was the song that competed with "Baby one more time", cause they were lanced at almost the same time, and by two new and rising stars of Pop. 

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful songs of Christina and  the entire Pop universe, the melody itself and with the beat details of that timeline of pop, were something else. 

Props to this awesome artist, that is a power of music till nowadays.

Because it´s not about pure Pop, it´s about a pinch of R&B.

 22 years have passed, since this talented woman leaved this world, the girl from Brooklyn, raised in Detroit made the difference in the her own style of songs, with several characteristics of musics between pop hip hop, soul  and R&B, but i personally think that this last one said was her most strong style. "Age ain´t nothing but a number" was debuted in December of 1994, and is the third single of her first album that shares the same name. 

Some of us, say that this song appeal to a relationship with no age concerns.

Nsync 1995 song i want you back, was their first single released out to the music world, this is one of the best first hits of the boys band era, which was back in the 90´s.

 Back then the melody and sonority of the songs were more light and tasty, it was very notable the presence of each voice and instrument, and in that time the artist were "real artist" they sang and danced at the same time in a show.

i know that are different timelines and styles, and all the things in this world change, but sometimes change in a perspective of losing the true fundamentals and magic.
